Title: Ballerina (also known as Leap!)
Rating: 8/10 Stars
IMDB Summary: An orphan girl dreams of becoming a ballerina and flees her rural Brittany for Paris, where she passes for someone else and accedes to the position of pupil at the Grand Opera house.
Review: Félicie Milliner has dreams of being a ballerina. Left at an orphanage, she only has one possession linking her to her mother - a music box. Her and Victor plan to escape the orphanage, and one such night they finally do and travel to Paris. Victor's own aspirations of being an inventor begin to become a reality while Félicie fights for her place in the Opera Ballet School.

She starts off with very little knowledge and skill with only her spirit keeping her going, but day by day she improves as others are eliminated before her, and Felicie starts to truly have a shot at the Nutcracker part. But first, she needs to beat her rival Camille.

I like Camille's character because although she's Félicie's rival, she later realises that she doesn't have Félicie's passion for ballet and her whole life has been controlled by her mother. Ballerina has a great plot line and I thoroughly enjoyed watching the movie.
