Review: The One by Kiera Cass

Title: The One (The Selection #3)
Author: Kiera Cass
Summary: The time has come for one winner to be crowned.

When she was chosen to compete in the Selection, America never dreamed she would find herself anywhere close to the crown—or to Prince Maxon's heart. But as the end of the competition approaches, and the threats outside the palace walls grow more vicious, America realizes just how much she stands to lose—and how hard she'll have to fight for the future she wants.

Review: Stunning. Wow, The One- again. Fantastic! Beautiful, and sad. I have heard lots of spoilers about the Selection series, but none of them have ruined the books- they more or less helped me understand The Selection. But, even with the spoilers, I could never guess when the events were going to happen. And Kiera Cass describes them in such a a detailed way, so intricately. It's just amazing. And, The selection actually seems real. I mean, some authors have their characters hide in a safe, hidden world, with not much action. But The Selection Series certainly isn't. Kiera Cass has simply replicated a world, and added so much more, but keeping it realistic. The ending. I just have to write it here so you can hear it: "This isn't happily every after.
It's so much more than that." I mean, that's such a powerful ending, and a good lead-in to The Heir. although I haven't read the Prince and The Guard yet, I will certainly do so! And, I'm so excited for The Heir! I read the Synopsis of The heir before I read The Selection, so I kind of already know what it's about. Kiera Cass is definitely a must read. You will enjoy.
